FUERZA BRUTA Adds Summer Monday Performances 7/11-8/29

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP makes an even bigger splash beginning Monday, July 11 with its first summer Monday performance at 8 p.m. Monday nights throughout the end of August are now even hotter at New York City's best nighttime pool party.

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP plays at the Daryl Roth Theatre, where it opened to rave reviews on October 24, 2007. The New York Times hails the show "a physical and visual extravaganza," while the New York Post describes it, "A dazzling blend of erotic, hypnotic, aquatic," and The Star Ledger notes "Unexpected magnificence. Sensual, unearthly, nearly hallucinatory." FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP floods the senses with breathtaking visuals and dynamic music as performers run through moving walls and frolic in a watery world suspended just above the audience. The non-stop action and kinetic aerial imagery is set to a beat-driven, heart-pumping soundtrack.

Among the celebrities that have been spotted at the show are: Jim Carrey, Rachel McAdams, Jude Law, Beyonce Knowles, Shakira, John Legend, Orlando Bloom and Ryan Gosling.

Fuerza Bruta recently closed limited engagements in Buenos Aires, Bogota, Colombia, Chicago, Mexico City and Taipei where it celebrated a very successful Asian debut, doubling the record for longest run in Taiwan history.

FUERZA BRUTA premiered in Buenos Aires in 2005 and has been seen in Lisbon, London, Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Rosario, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Queretaro and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it earned critical praise and was honored with the prestigious Bank of Scotland Herald Angel award for "the biggest and best show on the Fringe - the must see event of 2007" (The Herald). In October, 2007 FUERZA BRUTA debuted at New York City's Daryl Roth Theatre where De La Guarda had played a smashing six-year Off-Broadway run. FUERZA BRUTA has also had productions in Las Vegas, Mexico City, Seoul, Tel-Aviv, Amsterdam, Miami and Tokyo, among other cities. GIRLS NIGHT OUT at FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP takes place the first Thursday of every month at 8pm at the Daryl Roth Theatre, 101 East 15th Street at Union Square East.
