Cast Announced for Signature's NIGHT IS A ROOM; Tickets Now on Sale

Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for Night is a Room, written by Residency One playwright Naomi Wallace and directed by Bill Rauch. Night is a Room, the third and final production of Wallace's residency, runs November 3, 2015 to December 13, 2015 with a Sunday, November 22 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The cast includes Dagmara Dominczyk (Golden Boy), Ann Dowd (HBO's "The Leftovers"), Bill Heck (Signature's The Orphans' Home Cycle and Angels in America).

The design team includes Rachel Hauck (Scenic Design), Clint Ramos (Costume Design), Jen Schriever (Lighting Design), Leah Gelpe (Sound Design) and Charlotte Fleck (Dialect Coach). Cole P. Bonenberger is the Production Stage Manager. Casting by Telsey + Company, Karyn Casl, CSA.

Liana (Dagmara Dominczyk) and Marcus (Bill Heck) have a marriage others envy. Doré (Ann Dowd) has grown accustomed to an isolated existence in her modest flat. After a surprise reunion on Marcus's 40th birthday, their worlds are shattered by an unexpected turn of events. A world premiere production from Residency One playwright Naomi Wallace, Night is a Room is a searing exploration of love's power to both ruin and remake our lives.

There will be post-show talkbacks on November 10 and 18, as well as December 1 and 8.Talkbacks brought to you by American Express. Other supplemental programming includes a pre-show Page to Stage discussion with Naomi Wallace and Bill Rauch on November 17 and a pre-show Backstage Pass event, featuring members of the creative team, on December 9.
