BETWEEN IN BETWEEN World Premere To Be Presented at The Tank

For The Makers Productions will present the world premiere of Between in Between by Amy Helms, running April 28 through May 10 at The Tank. Tickets are now on sale.

The production marks the latest project from the female-founded indie company, continuing its focus on developing new work through actor-driven storytelling.

Set on the Kentucky–West Virginia border in the 1880s, the play reimagines elements of Romeo and Juliet through a two-person performance structure. At a fall festival, two young people from feuding families create an imagined world together, testing the possibility of love beyond inherited conflict. As the story unfolds, shifting identities and transformations blur the boundaries between characters and realities.

The production features two actors portraying ten roles, building the narrative in real time through physical storytelling and performance.

Rachel Gifford will appear as Etta May Aird and others, with Ryan Dunn as Milo McKay and others.

The creative team includes playwright Amy Helms, director and producer Leah Beth Etheredge, producer Rachel Gifford, stage manager Annie Sheehy, lighting designer Lee Lillis, set designer Bryson Steele Johnson, Costume Designer Jackson Pachar, fight choreographer Kristina Swearingen, and sound designer Lola Basiliere.
