The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced that single tickets for the 2012 festival will go on sale to the general public on June 18th and that the centralized NYMF Hub, located at 330 W. 42nd Street will open that day from 10-6pm with coffee and donuts provided by Dunkin' Donuts and live performances throughout the day from upcoming Festival shows. There is a box office located in the Hub, and for the first time, advance tickets can be booked in person with no service charge.

Along with the first-ever NYMF box-office, the Hub will host an array of free public events, including concerts, panel discussions and talkbacks with festival artists, and will feature a gallery of Festival shows. The Hub, which will be open from 12pm to 8pm every day through July 29, will also feature a bar and lounge and will serve as a social center for those associated with NYMF as well as audience members.

A full breakdown of this year's performances, dates and venues can be found at www.nymf.org/daybyday.

Since its inception in 2004, The New York Musical Theatre Festival has premiered more than 300 new musicals - more than 80 of which have gone on to award-winning productions in New York, in regional theaters in 48 states, and in 16 countries worldwide. 21 NYMF alumni shows have gone on to enjoy off-Broadway runs, including last season's acclaimed The Blue Flower and The Shaggs, and this season's Fat Camp and the upcoming The Last Smoker In America. This September, Chaplin (formerly Behind the Limelight) will be the third NYMF alum to open on Broadway, joining [title of show] and the Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal.

"We are thrilled that the NYMF Hub will make the Festival even more accessible to audiences and provide a physical space for the community to come together," said NYMF Executive Director and Producer Isaac Robert Hurwitz. "With a lounge, stage, and free events, there will always be something going on, and we are excited to bring NYMF to the next level with more programming and events."

This year's Festival will run July 9 - 29. Memberships are on sale now and members can book tickets as of today. Single tickets will go on sale beginning June 15th and the NYMF Box Office in the Hub opens on June 18th. To purchase a membership, please visit www.nymf.org/member.
