The New York Musical Theatre Festival and La Vie Productions proudly present Unlock'd, a new musical comedy based on the 18th century mock epic poem "The Rape of The Lock" by Alexander Pope, with book and lyrics by Sam Carner and music by Derek Gregor.  Unlock'd will play a strictly-limited, six-performance engagement as at TBG Theatre beginning September 17.

Unlock'd is directed by Igor Goldin, has music direction by David Andrews Rogers and orchestrations by Tony Award winner Bruce Coughlin

"Classical meets pop in this funny, screwball musical set in a world where beauty is everything! In lavish Hampton Court, surrounded by mischievous spirits, feisty young Clarissa fights to win the heart of the Baron from her gorgeous stepsister Belinda. Chaos ensues and teacups shatter when the Baron?s geeky brother Edwin enters the fray," explain press notes.

The cast of Unlock'd includes Jackie Burns, Alison Cimmet, Maria Couch, Bill Evans, Sarah Jane Everman, Christopher Gunn, Mary Catherine McDonald, Christopher Totten, Jim Weitzer and Darryl Winslow.

Unlock'd creative team includes Tony Zimbardi (sets), Colleen Kesterson (costumes), Matthew Richards (lighting) and Ron Piretti (fight choreography).

Unlock'd will be performed at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street). The performance schedule is as follows: Monday September 17 at 8PM; Wednesday September 19 at 8PM; Friday September 21 at 8PM; Sunday September 23 at 8PM; Saturday September 29 at 1PM; and Sunday September 30 at 1PM.
