April 14 – 16. June is filled again with Dansens Hus Norway Norwegian and international Street dancers, we reach the third time invites you to "Urban Moves". The Festival consists of a series of performances with many different crews/companies and battles.
The Festival is suitable for children, youth and adults, drug-free and has open age requirements.
Battles and jam is the core of hip hop culture.
In a battle in the impromptu dance duel dancers in various styles. The day starts with qualifications (Preselections), where anyone who wants to can participate and the judges select the top eight finishers in each style, which then goes through the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
Here you will have seen some of the best streetdanserne in both Norway and Europe battle each other!! The public can choose to see the preselection and battles or battles. The doors are open and you can come and go as you will.
A jam is like a disco/club. The music is playing in funk, house and hiphopsjangeren and anyone can dance as they please.
