We don’t know, so we ask the children. The ULTIMA Oslo Contemporary Music Festival hands over the responsibility for this to future generations and lets the children take over the Opera House for an entire day. They will create their own festival, where they present music and ideas they find exciting. Perhaps they will also challenge our ideas about how music should sound and be experienced.
Whether they spend the day creating concerts, opera, videos, ballet, workshops, games, installations – or something else entirely – is up to the children to decide. What we are certain about is that it will be a fun day full of experiences for the entire family. We look forward to being surprised!
