Thrane seems mostly against his will. He could not remember anything that is against his will. When he wakes up in the morning, all against his will. His mother has the feeling that she does seem fussy on Thrane. Isn't it a little much of her? Is that the way it is to be happy in his son? Thranes buddy is an architect. He thought he had the overview, total overview. He chained himself in a way he would prefer to forget. He tried to flee. That was before he knew that it is impossible to escape. Mole does not care about utopias, but about disasters, ordinary days when anything can happen.
