Queen Sonja International Music competition is held every other year for singers from around the world. It is recognized as one of the most important competitions for young singers, and attracts participants at the very highest level. This year we have the pleasure to receive the award winners visit the Source just after the final concert of the Norwegian National Opera, and the repertoire must we wait to find out. Conductor is our new Chief conductor Giordano Bellincampi, who for many years has been one of Denmark's most sought-after opera conductors and Commander of the Jyske Opera.
