Since the Wee was established in 1999 by Francesco Scavetta and Dawn Kipperberg's company has become one of the country's most active dance companies internationally. They meet the great interest and virtually around the globe are invited to hold workshops and show their performances.
In "On the Moon" and "the Day After" we find ourselves in a strange urban landscape. A dreamlike, cinematic atmosphere, at times of tension between dark humor and poetry, which brings us into another dramatic context. The performance is built up around the absurd and surreal actions and situations, with a flow that pervade and binds the elements together, albeit in a peculiarly and paradoxical way.
By exploring the Visual and conceptual offsets the performance question POPs our everyday perception. The spectator is invited to look at something that strive toward being there, but instead seem to lack the one thing that may explain why it's there ...
