KUAN YIN – OUT OF THE RUINS at Kilden Teater- og Konserthus

Kuan Yin-the performance out of the ruins are a short journey of painter Urd von Hentigs memories of when she spent several of his childhood years in an air raid shelter in Berlin during World War II. This year was marked by white and black mourning horror. Carefully we have easily the Urds memories. We have tried to catch a fragment of the moment where everything is frozen, although the walls are about to give way. We are looking for us in the year 1940. Urd as a young woman wakes up in his own childhood. Together with the child in it arouse her pieces of an aging Urds memories to life.
