Jack likes them best in the hammock where he can dream away from reality. His father disappeared and his mother struggles at home. Like most adolescents will Jack rather enjoy summer than to help. One day her mother sees himself forced to had to sell kuen to get money for food. Jack is sent to market, but come home with magic beans instead of money. The mother becomes furious and throws the beans out of the window. But during the night the unbelievable happens: Beans sprouts and grows and turns into a giant bean stalk. Jack can't resist the temptation to climb up, and comes to a fantastic dream world with talking animals and creepy fighting. Nobody has managed to come home after having climbed the Beanstalk before, how it ends for Jack?
