GIORDANO BELLINCAMPI at Kilden Teater- og Konserthus

In the summer of 2012, it was announced that Giordano Bellincampi, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra's next Music Director in the fall of 2013. This will be the first meeting with the conductor after the appointment.

Giordano Bellincampi was born in Rome in 1965, and is trained as a trombonist and conductor at the Royal Danish Conservatory of music. There, he has also in recent years been a teacher of the conductor class.

Bellincampi is currently Chief conductor of the opera and The Jyske Opera in Aarhus, a commitment that runs out in may 2013. He is also the Music Director for the Duisburger Philharmonic and for 1. Pomeriggi Musicali of Milan.
