Agder Teater celebrates its 100-year anniversary of women's right to vote with a world premiere. The play is written and staged by Tyra tonnessen-one of Norway's leading directors — and builds on the main work, Camilla Colletts Amtmandens Daughters, as well as writings from her life and work. Amtmandens Daughters is nothing simple or clear-cut kvinnepolitisk works, but deep, insightful and universal human literature on being human.
"200 years is a long time. Still feeds the life out of Camilla Colletts book pages. I'm used to working with deceased authors, but in the effort "has all the basic questions of life come particularly close. She was in every way a Norwegian woman, really, and the power of her flowing still. "
