Safety at Carol Piersol Stage at the Firehouse Theatre

Safety is the world premiere musical written by Irene Ziegler with music composed by John Winn, directed by Firehouse Executive Director Nathaniel Shaw. After a traumatic event, Camille tries to hold things together for herself and her ailing mother, as a series of escalating complications force her to confront the source of her fear. The production blends humor, romance, and magical realism to explore the quest for safety and the strength it takes to embrace hope in the face of uncertainty. Leading the cast is Grey Garrett, with Nathan Whitmer, Jackie Jones, Tyler Stevens, Zakiyyah Jackson, William Vaughn, and Nick Aliff.
