In this British farce by a master of the genre, London cab driver John Smith has two wives, two lives, and two addresses in different towns. When he is mugged and taken to the hospital, both addresses surface, which brings into play two police departments. John frantically juggles to try to keep his secrets from the police, his neighbors, and — most of all — his wives.
