Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is a musical retelling of the biblical story of Joseph, a young man favored by his father Jacob, who is given a colorful coat, leading his jealous brothers to sell him into slavery. Joseph, initially sold into slavery, rises through the ranks in Egypt, ultimately becoming second in command to the Pharaoh, thanks to his ability to interpret dreams. His brothers, facing famine, travel to Egypt to purchase food and unknowingly encounter Joseph, leading to a reunion and forgiveness.
