Richmond Triangle Players hosts a one-night-only concert reading of the road-trip musical comedy Murphy's Law with book, music, and lyrics by Andy Nagraj and Jonathan Spivey on Monday, July 25 at 8 PM. This concert reading is Richmond's first - but not final - taste of the musical since the original workshop at the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond in 2004.

THROUGH THEIR EYES is a new ensemble generated performance exploring what it means to be a victim and how to become a survivor within the framework of a series of monologues adapted from the novel by Raymond Goode. Published in 2012, Goode's book has sold over 15,000 copies worldwide. Firehouse's stage production of the book is being directed by Addie Barnhart and Emma Givens.

The Alden and the McLean Community Center's (MCC) 2016 Summer Sunday Concerts in the Park feature a lineup of well-established tribute bands, playing a wide range of music-everything from the Beach Boys to Prince. The free concerts start at 5 p.m. and will be held each Sunday in July at McLean Central Park, 1468 Dolley Madison Blvd. Free parking is available at MCC (1234 Ingleside Ave.) or Dolley Madison Library (1244 Oak Ridge Ave).
