Wolfbane Productions Hosts Screening of Disney's HOCUS POCUS
Mark your calendars! Wolfbane Productions, with the generous support of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Jamerson, the Greater Lynchburg Community Trust, the Virginia Commission of the Arts, and the National Endowment of the arts, is proud to host its final Family Movie Night of the season on Sunday, October 16th with Disney's Hocus Pocus. Doors will open at 7PM and the movie will begin at sun down. It's perfect for the whole family-and best of all-admission is free! Grab a blanket or your favorite lawn chair and enjoy.
After moving to Salem, Mass., teenager Max Dennison (Omri Katz) explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani (Thora Birch) and their new friend, Allison (Vinessa Shaw). After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.
The Wolf P.A.C., Wolfbane's outdoor theatre venue, is located at 524 Country Club Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522. Come dressed in your Halloween costume for a chance to win some prizes! Popcorn and beverages will be available for purchase. No outside food or drinks permitted. (We love them, but) No pets.
