Wolfbane Productions Founder Receives M. Carey Brewer Award ImageArtistic Director of Wolfbane Productions, Dustin Williams, was honored with the M. Carey Brewer Award from University of Lynchburg on Friday, October 19, 2018. The award recognizes young alumni who have made contributions to society so outstanding that they have brought distinction to themselves and to their alma mater.

Dustin Williams founded Wolfbane Productions in 2008 as a side project. Ten years later, Wolfbane has grown into one of the leading theatrical companies in Virginia and a major player in the American Theatre scene, having debuted a consistent string of successful, original works and classical adaptations that have garnered national attention. Wolfbane provides high-caliber entertainment at an affordable price, drawing guests from all over Central Virginia and beyond.

Dustin Williams has made arts education a priority and actively works toward providing hands on experience and creative mentoring opportunities to anyone interested in a career in the arts. Wolfbane has hosted a series of theatrical workshops, festivals, and master classes to give students of all ages the opportunity to grow as artists in a reliable, professional environment. Wolfbane has had many successful alumni go on to work in Broadway and touring companies (including the current casts of Aladdin, Hello, Dolly!, and The Play That Goes Wrong), reputable regional houses, and lucrative technical positions.

Please visit www.wolfbane.org or call the Wolfbane Box Office at 434-579-3542 to hear more about Wolfbane's upcoming 2019 season, which includes Cabaret, A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder, The Tempest, The Crucible, Stranger Sings: an unauthorized musical parody, and the return of the ever-popular Wolfswood Renaissance Faire. You can also follow Wolfbane on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about audition, master class, and volunteer opportunities as well as receive up-to-date information on shows and events.
