INXS

Appearing at Wolf Trap for the first time is Australian '80s rock band INXS as they tour North America on The Original Sin Tour performing their smash hits such as "Need You Tonight," "What You Need," and "Devil Inside." In 1987 the group reached worldwide superstardom with the release of the multiplatinum album Kick, which included four singles that entered the Billboard Top 10. The band went on to receive two GRAMMY nominations and became one of the most successful rock bands of all time, selling 35 million albums worldwide. Despite the tragic death of lead singer Michael Hutchence in 1997, INXS has continued to make music, adding a new vocalist to their lineup in 2005 and releasing a new album in 2010. Original Sin features new recordings of classic INXS songs with the help of famed artists such as John Mayer, Ben Harper, and Rob Thomas in what USA Today calls "salvation for [the] band's fans."

Berlin

Popular new wave pop group Berlin returns to Wolf Trap. Formed in the early '80s by singer Terri Nunn, bassist John Crawford, and keyboardist David Diamond, the group achieved mainstream success with several hit singles. They are best known for their No. 1 song "Take My Breath Away," the epic love ballad from the 1986 Tom Cruise movie Top Gun. The song won both the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song that year.

$45 in-house, $25 lawn

The legendary blues-rockers of Steve Miller Band return to Wolf Trap for an evening of multiplatinum classic hits and tunes from their latest albums. Miller formed his band in the early 1960s and released the debut album, Children of the Future, in 1968. Throughout the '70s and into the next decade, Miller's music became increasingly commercially successful, providing hit singles such as the No. 1 songs "The Joker," and "Rock ‘n Me," and the No. 2 song "Fly Like an Eagle." After a hiatus that lasted more than 15 years, Miller released the blues cover album Bingo! in 2010. Let Your Hair Down followed in 2011, featuring the last recordings of harmonica virtuoso Norton Buffalo, Miller's "partner in harmony" for 33 years.
