Peninsula Community Theatre Brings LES MISERABLES to Hampton Roads, Now thru 8/24

By:

Peninsula Community Theatre is opening their 2013-2014 season tonight, August 2nd through August 24 with the Hampton Roads premier production of Les Miserables.

Peninsula Community Theatre is excited to be undertaking the production of this epic musical masterpiece based on the novel by Victor Hugo. This marks a huge step for Peninsula Community Theatre as it marches its way into a new generation of theatregoers. This masterpiece required an innovative set design which in return has created a reimagined staging sure to be seen nowhere else. "The space is small so it has presented challenges for the production team and much of the show has had to re-imagined to accommodate the space. However, do not fret this visually stimulating production leaves nothing out but includes everything from invading the audience and pushing their senses to the brink all the way through to the final suicide and death of our protagonist and antagonist. Yes even Javert's suicide we leave the audience gasping.", says Corriveau.
