Ollabelle
Lucky and talented enough to capture the attention of famed producer T Bone Burnett after the release of their self-titled debut in 2004, Ollabelle's reputation has grown exponentially throughout the past decade. Deemed "one of the hottest bands going in roots music" by the Washington Post, Ollabelle's music offers an innovative style of Americana that has earned praise from the likes of Ryan Adams, Diana Krall, and Buddy Miller, all of whom attached Ollabelle to past tours. Featuring Amy Helm (daughter of the legendary Levon Helm) on vocals and mandola, the band is currently touring behind their new album, Neon Blue Bird, which weaves together blues, bluegrass, and gospel. Eager for their headlining debut at The Barns, the band is primed for an epic fall tour after recently returning to the road after a five year break.
Kris Delmhorst
During the creation of her 2008 album Shotgun Singer, Kris Delmhorst's took to an approach that garnered Justin Vernon so much critical buzz during his writing and recording of Bon Iver's For Emma, Forever Ago; she holed herself up in a solitary cabin with a array of instruments and emerged with a transcendental, elegant, and homegrown result. Writing, performing, and touring since 1998, Delmhorst is an indie-folk icon in her home region of Western Massachusetts and has released 10 records that have earned her worthy comparisons to Juana Molina, Feist, Iron & Wine, and Laura Veirs.

Returning to The Barns for what has become a glorious annual celebration of the Scottish music revival scene, Battlefield Band continues to enthrall with their adventurous sound and eclectic combination of instruments including guitar, keyboard, fiddle, whistle, banjo, bouzouki, bodhran, Highland/small bagpipes, and bass guitar. Now having fully adjusted to the retirement of founding member Alan Reid in 2010, the band has found fresh new energy with the addition of singer and multi-instrumentalist Ewen Henderson. Arriving at The Barns in support of their new album, Line-Up, Battlefield Band's unique mixture of traditional and contemporary sounds continues to strongly shape the future of Scottish music.
