Church Basement Ladies

If you thought the ladies of Steel Magnolias were tough, wait until you meet the Church Basement Ladies. It's a combo of laughter and heart tugging moments in this musical comedy about the ladies who make the meals and make this Lutheran Church run from below the house of God. Based on the humorous novel Growing Up Lutheran by Janet Letnes Martin and Suzann Nelson.

Mark Twain's Is He Dead?

Did you know that America's greatest humorist, Mark Twain wrote a play? Well he did. Discovered and published in 2003, Is He Dead?, in a new adaptation by America's funniest contemporary playwright, David Ives, tells the farcical tale of a painter who fakes his death and disguises himself as his sister. As a dead painter, his works are more valuable than when he was alive. But when he falls in love, can he somehow resurrect himself to marry his true love and collect the fortune due to him? Comic twists abound in this resurrected comic delight.
