"Camelot" has conquered the hearts of generations, and now the beloved tale and all of its magic comes to Barter Theatre. Join King Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table on their quest to bring goodness to a world in chaos, and follow these champions as they traverse the turmoil; and fall in love.

Legendary music that has stunned the world before will have everyone at Barter Theatre swooning! This adventurous love story will have you questioning the possibilities of what we can achieve in a world filled with ideals.

Director, Richard Rose reminds us that "the legend, the myth, and the fantasy of King Arthur has captured the imagination of western culture for almost 16 centuries and has never died." The enchanting tale of these famed characters will fill you with joy and hope!

Barter Theatre, the nation's longest running professional theatre, is located in Abingdon, Virginia. The theatre opened in 1933 during the Great Depression. Founder Robert Porterfield offered patrons admission to the theatre by bartering food and livestock. Barter Theatre was designated as the state theatre of Virginia in 1946. It exists today as one of the last year-round professional resident repertory theaters remaining in the United States. Barter Theatre is funded in part by The Virginia Commission for the Arts and The National Endowment for the Arts.
