My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy
With Steve Solomon
Friday, February 4 at 8 p.m.
Saturday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m.
$30
My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy-one of the longest running one man shows in history-makes its Wolf Trap premiere at the Barns. Master dialectician Steve Solomon single-handedly tells the hilarious story of a man whose family has driven him from the dinner table straight into the therapist's chair. Using impersonation skills honed from growing up in the multiethnic Sheepshead neighborhood in Brooklyn, Solomon creates a cast of crazy characters that every audience member will recognize from their own family gatherings. Dubbed "Alan King, Billy Crystal, a smidgen of Don Rickles, and George Carlin all thrown in" by Variety, Solomon is poised to make his mark on The Barns with his creative, original gem.
