Hershey Area Playhouse Announces Auditions for a Weekend of One Acts

Hershey Area Playhouse is holding auditions for the fifth of its 2017 Dark Night Series productions, a Weekend of One Acts, on Saturday, June 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Auditions will take place at the Playhouse, located at the corner of Sand Hill Road and Cherry Drive, Hershey. Roles for 28 males and females, varying in ages, are available.

Those auditioning will be asked to read a dramatic and a comedic monologue. Individuals may come prepared with their own monologues, no more than two minutes in length; monologues will also be available for use.

Those auditioning will be considered for all six one act plays unless they indicate otherwise. Roles will be assigned at the auditions with the opportunity to meet the directors of the one act plays. If agreeable, those auditioning may be assigned more than one role.
