Toronto Youth Theatre
Toronto Youth Theatre are seeking young people aged 15 -22 yrs old with exceptional talent who wish to develop their ability in a professional environment, becoming cast members of TYT’s upcoming Summer Season of plays.
Auditions will be held over the coming weeks. The latest deadline to apply is May 25th

You will be required to perform a short contemporary monologue of your choice. No more than 2 minutes long.
Successful applicants will be invited to take a role in the forthcoming productions of “#YOLO” by Matthew Bulgo or “FOMO” by Suhayla El-Bushra and work with expert artistic and technical teams over a 3 week period, culminating in a fully professional week of performance at The Lower Ossington Theatre.
Rehearsal Dates and Performance Schedule:
Starts: Monday 9th July
Ends: Sunday 27th July
Monday 9th to Friday 13th July: 10.00am to 3.00pm
Monday 16th to Friday 20th July: 10.00am to 3.00pm
Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th July: 10.00am to 3.00pm
Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th July Performances

TYT is a registered charity and was founded in 2005.
It is dedicated to producing plays featuring young actors that reflect the lives of young people today. Our aim is to create excellence in theatre, to bring the voices of young people to a larger audience and to provide young people with an opportunity to showcase their talent and professionalism.
At Toronto Youth Theatre we inspire, train, and showcase exceptional performers from the Greater Toronto Area. Our approach is unique. We believe that the best place for young performers to learn is on stage before a live audience.
