Rehearsals begin October 12.

Performances are November 19 – December 6, Thursday – Sunday

(There will be no performance on Thanksgiving).

With a sign-up sheet in the theater’s lobby, actors will be seen on a first come/first serve basis. Starting July 20, sides for both scripts will be available at the Provincetown Theater during weekday business hours, as well as at the auditions themselves.

CHARACTERS: 13 roles

NOTE: All roles to be performed by cis-gender women, or female-presenting, or non-binary actors of any race. Looking to present expansive femme cast.

TRUDY – ageless, NYC bag lady.

JUDITH BEASLEY – 30-50s, middle-class American homemaker.

CHRISSY – 20s-30s, urban professional constantly on the self-help path of improvement.

PAUL – 20-50s, divorced man looking for love.

KATE – 40-60s, Manhattan society lady looking for relevance.

AGNUS ANGST – teenager, punk rocker rebelling against the world.

LUD – 60s-70s, retired, working-class husband of Marie, Agnus Angst’s loving grandfather.

MARIE – 60s-70s, retired, working-class wife of Lud, Agnus Angst’s loving grandmother.

TINA -- 20s-50s, NYC streetwalker, friend of Trudy.

BRANDY – 20s-50s, streetwalker, friend of Tina.

LYN – 30s-40s, wife, mother, 1970s feminist activist.

EDIE – 30-40s, writer, feminist activist, lesbian.

MARGE – 30s-40s, fashion plate feminist, straight, troubled.
