Agnes - as in of God only the comic version

Sister Walburga - German nun, the fixer

Mrs. MacDuffie - Scottish washer woman

Sister Acacius - think the principal from Matilda, but not mean

Mother Superior - lead, head of the school, once a tough-as-nails journalist

Mrs. Levinson - older Jewish philanthropist and complete non-believer

Timothy - a boy of 10 who cannot play ball

Jeremy - 40-60s, reporter, trying to uncover the secrets of the school

Brother Venerius - an albini monk who hangs out in the basement, plotting

The story revolves around saving the school--by tearing it down and building a new one. Not much can stop Mother Superior (originally played by the author Charles Busch) as she navigates her way to victory in a wonderful parody of the nun movie genre.

Rehearsals begin January 30 and the show runs March 23-April 2, 5 shows a week. This is volunteer community theatre.
