TWELFTH NIGHT: KARAOKE MARINA - The Coil Project Non Equity Auditions

The Coil Project will hold auditions for Twelfth Night: Karaoke Marina this coming Wednesday and Thursday, September 9 and 10.

If music be the food of love, then karaoke is the appetizer. Join us for the Shakespearean equivalent of mini quiches in December at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop.

Meet Viola -- one of Shakespeare's great drag kings -- who falls hard for Duke Orsino. Orsino -- whose karaoke palace is the hottest spot on the Illyrian seaside -- loves Olivia. Olivia -- who genuinely thinks she can hit the high notes in I Will Always Love You -- is nursing a wicked crush on Cesario, but is too painfully hetero to twig that he's actually Viola in disguise. It's a mess. With songs!

This is a paid position: cast will receive a $100 fee for the full rehearsal and run of the show.

There are both singing and non-singing roles available. Auditions will be held at Northeast Neighborhood Library in DC.
