THE LITTLE MERMAID (YOUTH AUDITION) - Kidz Theater NYC Non Equity Auditions

Kidz Theater is a professional development company for young performers who are seeking a career in the musical theater. We offer classes and productions for performers ages 7-18 and strive to teach professionalism, discipline and strong technique within a supportive, family environment. Currently our students are playing leading roles on Broadway, in National Tours and Regional productions, and our alumni go on to the top BFA Musical Theater programs.

We are currently casting for our Fall MainStage Production of THE LITTLE MERMAID

Our Mainstage program is a rigorous, professional training program. Over ten weeks, students work to mount a fully staged musical production. With a focus on discipline, collaboration, and artistic growth, this program prepares young actors for high-level performance while building a strong, supportive community.

SEEKING

AUDITIONS AND CALLBACKS

9/9-9/13

Auditions for new performers will be 9/9 and will be followed by a week of callbacks!

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

Rehearsals begin 9/18

Tuesdays and Fridays from 5pm-9pm

Saturdays from 11:30am-7:30pm

One additional Thursday on 10/29

TECH REHEARSAL

Monday, November 9th from 4:30-9:30pm Tech Rehearsal

Tuesday, November 10th from 4:30-9:30pm Tech Rehearsal

Wednesday, November 11th from 4:00-10:00pm Dress Rehearsal

PERFORMANCES

Thursday, November 12th at 7:00pm

Friday, November 13th at 7:00pm

Saturday, November 14th at 1:00pm & 7:00pm

TUITION

There is a tuition of $1350 with scholarships provided.

REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE LOCATION

Rehearsals will be at Ailey Studios (55th) and AMDA Studios (54th St). Some rehearsals may be at various Ripley Grier locations.

Performances are at the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew Sanctuary on 86th St.

(Performances are through a partnership with the Center at West Park)
