Walloomsac River Theatre Company is announcing auditions for Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night- Abridged” directed by Lauren Biasi, held on Monday June 26th from 6pm-8pm, held at Second Congregational Church, UCC, 115 Hillside St, Bennington, VT 05201; By Appointment Only

Roles Available: (Unless specified otherwise, character gender are open to interpretation)

• ORSINO, (male presenting) Duke of Illyria, in love with Olivia

• OLIVIA, (female presenting) a rich countess who falls for “Cesario”

• MALVOLIO, steward to Olivia

• SEBASTIAN, (male presenting) brother of Viola

• ANTONIO, able seaman, friend of Sebastian

• MARIA, (female presenting) Olivia’s handmaiden

• SALLY, (female presenting) a scullery maid, assistant to Maria

• A SEA CAPTAIN, friend of Viola

• VALENTINE, gentleman attending on Duke Orsino

• CURIO, gentleman attending on Duke Orsino

• SIR TOBY BELCH, (male presenting) Uncle of Olivia

• SIR ANDREW AGUECHEEK,(male presenting) friend to Sir Toby

• FABIANO, assistant steward to Olivia

• FESTY & JESTY, 2 clowns, in Olivia’s house

Priest, Sailors, Officers, Musicians, and Attendants- who may be filled by other cast members.?

This one-night only performance is a fundraiser for Walloomsac River Theatre Company and Monument Arts & Cultural Center. Performances are August 6th at 7pm, performed at Bennington’s Monument Arts and Cultural Center, located at 44 Gypsy Lane in Bennington, VT 05201.
