The REP announces Equity Principal auditions for ‘I’m Gonna Pray For You So Hard’

The REP, Point Park University’s professional theatre company, is accepting Equity Principal auditions by appointment for the production of I’m Gonna Pray For You So Hard by Haley Feiffer.

Robert Turano will direct I’m Gonna Pray For You So Hard. Appointments will be accepted from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, at Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse, 222 Craft Ave. I’m Gonna Pray For You So Hard runs September 29- October 16, 2016 in the Studio Theatre.

Seeking 1 man and 1 woman:

ELLA, Twenties. An up-and-coming actress.

DAVID, A famous playwright. Ella’s father.

In addition to the cold readings, the men may be asked to sing a few bars of “Somewhere” from West Side Story. No piano, no need to be a singer, just need to at least fumble through a few bars of the melody. Also may be asked to do a few lines of a Russian accent.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. Actors must audition to be seen at callbacks.
