At 5.37am, an astrophysicist and a beekeeper meet on Maungawhau Mount Eden for Matariki. Maarire and Rowley. Two strangers. There is a spark. And there isn’t. They fall in love. And they don’t. Both. Everything. Te katoa. But if every moment contains another possibility – which version do we end up living?
Starring Renaye Tamati (Murder on the Orient Express, Deep Water) and Jarod Rawiri (UPU, The Brokenwood Mysteries), Constellations is grounded in Aotearoa and alive with the spirit of renewal. This is a love story scattered across the multiverse with limitless possibilities and theoreticals.
