David Mamet's November directed by Ashley Ricord runs through May 9 at Tulane's Lupin Theater (16 Newcomb Blvd.) Final performances are at 8pm Friday and Saturday; Sunday at 2pm.  Tickets are $23 and are available at www.Theatre-13.com or 504 421 0744.

It's November in a Presidential election year, and incumbent Charles Smith's chances for reelection are looking grim. Approval ratings are down, his money's running out, and nuclear war might be imminent. "With numbers lower than Ghandi's cholesterol", the incumbent must get a grip on lesbian marriage, Indian casinos, preposterous turkey pardons & questionable campaign contributions, without losing his grip on the Oval Office.

Though his staff has thrown in the towel and his wife has begun to prepare for her post-White House life, Chuck isn't ready to give up just yet. Amidst the biggest fight of his political career, a simple PR event inspires Smith to risk it all in attempt to win back public support. With Mamet's characteristic no-holds-barred style, November is a scathingly hilarious take on the state of America today and the lengths to which people will go to win.
Starring Running With Scissors faves Bob Edes JR. and Leon Contavesprie, with the fantastic Rebecca Frank, Mike Harkins, and Shad Willingham.  Directed by Ashley Ricord (aka China Louise Maybelle Lurleen Pitts from Grenadine McGunkle!)
