Jim Fitzmorris Presents a New Play at JPAS Westwego Performing Arts Theatre, 10/28-11/13

JPAS will present the world premiere of FROM A LONG WAY OFF, A New Play by Jim Fitzmorris at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre (177 Sala Avenue in Westwego).

The production opens this Friday, October 28 and runs Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30PM, Sundays at 2PM through Novmeber 13, 2011. FROM A LONG WAY OFF offers a look at post-Katrina struggles. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the Quinncannon Family battles The Archdiocese of New Orleans over the closing of a beloved church. But they are about to find out, their biggest enemy might be their past. JPAS proudly presents the world premiere of a new play by the three-time Big Easy Award Winner Jim Fitzmorris.

DANE RHODES stars in this production which also stars TROI BECHET, AMANDA ZIRKENBACH, JOHN NEISLER, NANCY HARTMAN, Dave Davis, LUCY FAUST, TARI HOHN, MIKE HARKINS, EVan CleaveR, KEITH LAUNEY and TRIANNA BROWN.
