JPAS & Allways Theatre to Present THE FOURPOSTER, 8/8-17

The Jefferson Performing Arts Society will be teaming up with The Allways Theatre to present the second run of The Fourposter.

Public Performances will be held:
August 8th-17th at Teatro Wego!
177 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA
Friday & Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3:00pm.

The Fourposter written by Jan De Hartog. Joel Derby and Julie Roundtree star in this moving chronicle of a husband and wife from their wedding night in 1890 until they leave the house that has been their home, 35 years later. They fret and quarrel, laugh, cry, and make love in the same room in which they began their married life. And standing throughout the evening is the old fourposter, silent witness to all.

The creative team includes direction, scenic, and lighting design by Kris Shaw. Costume design by Jenny Sklar. Earl Scioneaux is the Stage Manager.

Tickets are $20-Adult, $15-Senior/Military/Students.
There is a $1.50 fee for each ticket sold.
