Following a successful run at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Jack Trinco's darkly comic cabaret act, "Death Part 7: The Last Word" plays two nights at The Allways Lounge (2240 St. Claude Avenue, New Orleans) on April 20th and 21st at 9:00 p.m.

What do stillborn siblings, drunken Cajun families and Richard Gere's gerbil have in common? All three feature prominently in Death Part 7: The Last Word. This darkly comic cabaret act is the barely anticipated final installment in Jack Trinco's fabled, multi-part musical journey through the underworld. The show features outrageous, irreverent comedy and killer songs by Laurie Anderson, Kate Bush, William Finn, Hall & Oates, Barry Manilow, Michelle Shocked amongst others. Death Part 7: The Last Word has been slaying audiences in New York and at the Edinburgh Fringe, and New Orleans is the first stop on a national tour.  Death Part 7: The Last Word is directed by Katrina Kiklowicz, with music direction by John Colonna.

"If dark comedy is your thing it's stuffed full of moments that produce astonished laughter. And the script is puns galore, some of them so gloriously bad they're good." - The Wee Review (Edinburgh, Scotland)

Jack Trinco is a multi-disciplinary theatre artist based in New York City.  Originally from Cottonport, LA, Jack is a performer, writer, director, and producer.  His work has been seen on stages large and small throughout NYC from Lincoln Center to Dixon Place.  Jack's deep love of music and fascination with death led to a quasi-epic series of cabaret acts exploring mortality.  Death Part 7: The Last Word made its international debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017.
