We'll Meet Again is a new American musical inspired by the real-life story of Heinz "Henry" Stern, a five-year-old Jewish boy who escaped Nazi Germany in 1937 with his family and settled in Alabama, where they were welcomed by the local community. Created and written by James R. Harris with musical arrangements by choral composer Mark Hayes, the production features a soundtrack of beloved Jewish melodies and American classics from the 1940s. Herndon Lackey, a five-decade Broadway veteran, plays the leading role of Henry Stern, with principal cast members Joy Hermalyn, Adam B. Shapiro, James C. Harris, Erikka Makic, and Jordan Patrick Blake. The production is directed by Daniel Kutner and presented by the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in association with Loveliest Village LLC and Mount Jefferson LLC.
