An abridged professional production of Shakespeare's The Tempest presented as part of the 2nd Annual Montclair Theater Festival, directed by Patrick Swailes-Caldwell with costume design by TJ Jenkins. Veronica Gonmiah stars as Prospero, Clara Chahine as Miranda, Lauren Therese as Ariel, Joe Nalieth as Caliban, and Patrick Swailes-Caldwell as Ferdinand. The cast pairs professional actors with rising performers from Vanguard's youth and teen education programs, continuing the company's Shakespeare in the Park tradition of pairing a classical work with a family musical each summer.
