Ferrell Studios is proud to present Spring Awakening, the Tony Award-winning musical with music by Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater, coming to Plainfield this spring.
Set against a backdrop of youth, repression, and self-discovery, Spring Awakening follows a group of adolescents as they navigate the exhilaration and confusion of coming of age. Through a powerful contemporary rock score and deeply human storytelling, the musical explores themes of identity, sexuality, mental health, and the consequences of silence.
