The Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC) in Deal Park, NJ, in cooperation with Salgado Productions, will bring “Ragtime, The Musical” to the stage from March 3-25, in a new production directed and choreographed by Luis Salgado, who is returning to the theater after last year’s hit production of “In the Heights.” “Ragtime” plays March 3,10,17, 23, 24 at 8 P.M., March 4, 11, 18, 25 at 3 P.M. and March 17 at 2 P.M. at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center (100 Grant Ave, Deal Park section of Ocean Township, NJ). Ticket range from $35 to $42 and can be ordered online at www.axelrodartscenter.com or by calling the box office at 732-531-9106, ext. 14. Free onsite parking an group discounts available.

May 23, 2023Sirius XM host Seth Rudetsky is bringing his Broadway concert series to the Axelrod Performing Arts Center, just five minutes from Asbury Park. On Saturday, June 3 at 8 p.m., Rudetsky is teaming up with Tony Award-winner Beth Leavel (The Prom, The Drowsy Chaperone, Mamma Mia!) for a one-night-only concert filled with intimate, funny, behind-the-scenes stories along with incredible performances of the songs Leavel has performed on Broadway and beyond.
