Our Town at Jersey Shore Arts Center (Palia Theater)

Asbury Park Theater Company presents Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Our Town, directed by Bailey Dumlao. Set in the fictional village of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, the play follows the Webb and Gibbs families as their children, Emily and George, fall in love and face the inevitable passage of time. The cast features Desiree Lara as the Stage Manager, Sophie Cox as Emily Webb, and Aren Duffy as George Gibbs, with additional cast members including Anthony Cea, John Paul Durazzo, RoseMarie Franklin, Evelynn Knox, Jess Pace, Jeff Parsons, Denise Sobotka, Jim Watson, and Meg Whalen. A post-show talkback with Mary English, Executive Director of the Thornton Wilder Society, will follow the Sunday matinee on May 24.
