On Time is a gay epic written by Wesley Cappiello and directed by Darren Nye, presented as part of the New Work Series in the black box at Villagers Theatre in Somerset, NJ. Deke Stoklosa and Matthew Swanson star as two actors bringing to life ten characters across a story spanning 160 years, following five couples through moments of love, heartbreak, and survival. The play weaves together intimate encounters from Victorian England to the modern-day American South, exploring how time bends, repeats, and reshapes human lives while illuminating the barriers history has placed on queer love. On Time examines how history echoes through individuals and how love persists in spite of it.
