The Princeton University Playhouse Ensembles and the Program in Theater & Music Theater’s New Works Festival will present two nights of new works-in-process by Princeton students, featuring an ambitious slate of five original plays, one new musical, and six newly developed choral arrangements. This year’s festival showcases new work by Mira Ho-Chen (It’s Called Telling a Story?), Will Grimes (Sistine), Marlie Kass (Quite Contrary: A Ghost Story of Creation), Lilly Hutcheson (The Doctor Drama; Dessert Wasteland), and Yuri Lee (The Gift of the Crane). Featuring student performers Radon Belarmino, Angela Kwon, and Lucy Grunden and members of the Playhouse Choir with faculty members Chesney Snow directing, Solon Snider Sway music directing, and Lloyd Suh as playwriting advisor.
Admission: Free and open to the public, however tickets are required, available online at tickets.princeton.edu.
