New Jersey Symphony performs new works by the 2026 Edward T. Cone Composition Institute composers, conducted by Eric Jacobsen. Featured composers and works include T. Gregory Bloomfield's fragrances of something sweet, Apollonio Maiello's Staring at the Sun, Gillian Rae Perry's if we looked, would we see?, and Max Vinetz's Any Thing Passes. The orchestra will also perform selections from Institute Director Steven Mackey's Concerto for Orchestra, followed by a post-concert reception.
