Music That Tells a Story: Opera 101 at Westrick Music Academy

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra presents Music That Tells a Story: Opera 101, a free vocal workshop hosted by the Princeton Festival Guild at Westrick Music Academy in Princeton Junction. Princeton University voice professor Dr. Rochelle Ellis and soprano Emily Margevich, a Company Artist with OperaDelaware, will explore the differences between operatic and Broadway singing styles. The workshop is open to singers of all ages and ability levels, both to watch and participate. The event honors the legacy of longtime Princeton Festival supporter Takako Lento, whose endowed fund supports this ongoing series.
