Leonia Chamber Musicians “Schubert Fest!” at 3 pm at Presbyterian Church in Leonia

Chamber musicians Theresa Norris, flute, Chris Cullen, clarinet, Janey Choi, violin, Daryl Goldberg, cello and Beth Robin, piano present “Schubert Fest!” . The concert includes two audience favorites by Franz Schubert. Guest artist American soprano Melissa Fogarty will sing ”The Shepherd on the Rock", D. 965, a Lied for Soprano, Clarinet, and Piano , and also sing the popular art song “Die Forelle” as heard in the Piano Quintet in A major, D. 667 (Forellenquintett for Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello and Double bass). Guest artists Junah Chung, viola and Deb Spohnheimer, bass will join the chamber musicians for a complete performance of the “Trout” Quintet. Also on the program is the eloquent and recently composed Trio No. 2 by Edgar F. Girtain IV, for Flute, Violin and Cello.
