In collaboration with the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, the Axelrod PAC presents a complete recreation of Judy Garlands historical concerts in Carnegie Hall, hosted by Judy Garlands daughter Lorna Luft and starring Karen Mason (Broadways Sunset Boulevard), Tony winner Debbie Gravite (Broadways Jerome Robbins Broadway), and Joan Ellison, conducted by Michael Berkowitz, Liza Minnellis former musical director. The fabled Judy Garland concert in Carnegie Hall has been called the greatest night in show business history. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the death of Judy Garland, the Axelrod, in conjunction with the Judy Garland Concert Restoration Project, Madison Marquette and Garden State Equality, will recreate the entire concert with full orchestra and a host of Broadway ladies singing Garlands most famous songs: Over the Rainbow, Come Rain or Come Shine, The Trolley Song, The Man That Got Away and more.
